Everyone is living one version of death or another. Essentially, life is a sequence of deaths culminating into the individual soul. Some people laugh, some people cry, some people seclude, but everyone dies. Even the immortals experience the subsequent and seemingly eternal stream of deaths of others. Losing lover after lover, guide after guide, family after family, pet after pet, home after home, kingdom after kingdom, losses upon losses.
To have reached this state that the Earth is currently in, most here have lived billions of lives - from the subatomic particles composing stardust to the common man and woman, and rarely to the prophets who have graced this Earth. As morbid as death can be, it is certain; and the human desire to avoid death is inherent only in those who have not conquered it.
I see each human as living their own version of death…
